Villa La Ruga was the most amazing place to stay. We held our wedding ceremony there and stayed for 3 nights. Secluded and safe. Right down the street from Argegno. Such a great village. One of the best parts of Villa La Ruga, besides the view, is the owner Francesco. Such a great host and an even better person. He is fun to talk to and so helpful with whatever you need. He will recommend great restaurant options in the area and help to make reservations. We are already dreaming about our next trip back to this wonderful place. Francesco went above and beyond our expectations. Firstly, he communicated with us months in advance to ask if we wanted to book additional activities like a boat ride tour, chef dinner, etc. He was very responsive upon check in, and greeted us at the door. He gave us a tour around the villa, which is absolutely stunning. We eloped a few weeks prior, and wanted to take some celebratory pictures here. He helped make sure every detail was in order and make our weekend better than we could imagine. The villa is huge and spacious! We enjoyed the views and playing bocce in the garden. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary and with friends and family!

Anfänglich gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, freie Termine und Preise besprochen, dann alles mit 8 Gästen organisiert und plötzlich ignoriert er einen und antwortet auf keine Nachricht mehr. Reine Zeitverschwendung; solltet ihr Euch direkt ersparen!

Absolutely five star accommodations and the host deserves six stars. This was our third time visiting La Ruga and it only gets better with each visit. Local restaurants are wonderful and there are numerous dining options within 15-20 minutes drive. The ferry stop is within walking distance and Francesco can easily facilitate all forms of private transportation including lake boat and local car services. During our stay we enjoyed the services of our private chef, Umberto who never fails to impress. This is a great investment in mental health…

Franchesco is one of the friendliest, most readily available and attentive hosts I have ever had. His property was maintained beautifully, had amazing views, and comfortably housed all of us. I would 100% recommend staying at his place and any property run by Franchesco!
